Spencer Fellows & Co Chartered Accountants was established in 1944 originally supporting the agricultural industry when the responsibility of accounting and taxation of farmers and land owners moved from land agents to accountants. Due to it's niche client base, the company has honed its skills in tax planning specifically around inheritance tax and succession planning incorporating the use of trusts and the intricacies of capital gains tax on land.
As the practice developed over the years, Richard Harman and Richard Worboys joined the team and from the mid 90’s took on the practice as principals. Today, post the acquisition of Spencer Fellows & Co by Buckley Watson in August of 2023, they still have a key role in providing support to our clients as an active part of our Consultancy team.
