David Seymour

David is a Chartered Accountant having over 40 years of experience in practice.

He qualified with a large local firm before spending some time in London working at KPMG. He then returned again to local practice before setting up his own firm in 1999.

In 2002 he joined forces with Steve Barker and Bob Bye to form Masons Chartered Accountants. This firm traded for 20 years initially in Rayleigh and then in Hadleigh until it merged with Buckley Watson in July 2022.

David now is an active consultant for the firm managing his portfolio of clients which operate across a broad range of industries including construction, public houses, property, manufacturing, consultancy, legal, and mechanical engineering.

Over his time in practice he has acquired a vast amount of experience in accounting, tax, VAT and audit and with his direct approach is a key member of our consultancy team.
